What Rob delivered

Rob attended a two-day company-wide new year safe start event, engaging with approximately 100 members of staff ranging from apprentices to directors. His presentation emphasised the importance of prioritising staff wellbeing and seeking support when necessary. Rob also provided one-to-one support to several members of staff who approached him during the event.

Hi Rob — just a quick note to thank you for your talk at our Safe Start Event. First class and very professional! Presenting to a construction audience isn't easy and it must be draining on occasion speaking so honestly and openly. I could relate to everything you said and your story was very similar to mine. Look forward to seeing you again sometime!

His warmth, authenticity, and genuine care for people resonated strongly with the project team. Rob took the time to speak individually with anyone who wanted to discuss their own mental health and wellbeing challenges, creating a supportive and open environment for meaningful conversations. You can talk about what you're going through and still be every bit the construction worker you've always been.
